Complex series gauges can feature

double Datum structures defined by component

drawing GDT.

To facilitate correct checking and measurement

assessment in such cases, it is critical the gauge  

 features a Datum shift operation built onto its

mechanics at design phase.

Failure to accommodate GDT freeze

lock principles or Datum shifts results in

gauges that can be up to  several millimetres inaccurate and often seen in cheaper

sourced alternatives

BS 969 2008 limits and wear tolerances are applied as standard practice. These can be changed to client specific values on request.
